Fingerprint sensors
are in vogue in India from the launch of Iphone 6S. Iphone 6S, a premium apple
device first included fingerprint sensor brought in India. Gradually, Oneplus
followed their footsteps. But even with oneplus, the device costs more than 21k
which cannot be called a budget device. This time, Coolpad Note 3 Lite is being
launched in India, which has much better specifications than devices of the
same price range. Coolpad Note 3 costs only Rs. 6,999 which is almost half of
oneplus two, a device with fingerprint sensor. Even though, fingerprint sensor
is the main attraction of the device, there are many other powerful features on
the phone. The phone sports a 5inch screen which is standard for smart phones.
When it comes to camera, the phone sports similar specifications of moto x,
which is a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Powerful cameras for a
budget phone of 7k. If we have a look at the battery, it has a 2500 MAh battery
which is not very powerful but should serve the purpose upon light use. In
other specifications, the phone is sporting a 3 GB RAM and 64 bit quad core
mediatek chipset processor. In other words, the phone has impressive
performance packed under its hood.
The prime feature of
the phone that has been drawing all the attention is definitely the fingerprint
sensor. The finger sensor is chiefly used for security purposes. The finger
print sensor recognizes the user and unlocks the phone only when the user’s
fingerprint is imprinted on it. In this
particular phone, the phone has pre installed feature that has a feature of
locking apps individually. This is definitely a very useful addition to the
phone’s security. The phone is 4G enabled to assure the fastest internet on the
go. There are many other astonishing features of the phone. These features
being internal storage of 16 GB and the phone also supports a microSD card upto
32 GB. The android operating system version installed in the phone is Android
5.0 lollipop but it can be expected that marshmallow upgrade will be
transferred on air by the company.
This is second
product of the company that is going to be launched in India. China based
company Coolpad has taken the aid of amazon.in for smooth marketing. Amazon.in
will start selling the device from Jan 15.
The phone initially
will be available in two colours, Champagne White and Black. The CEO of Coolpad
group said that first 20000 devices will be imported from China, and after the
first half of sell, they will star manufacturing in India using the Aurangabad
based factory of Videocon, another company of electronic devices. The company
made a huge sell of 1, 50,000 units of the previous version of Coolpad Note 3
in India. At the event of launch of the coolpad Note 3 lite device the company
also provided a quick preview of its wearable devices that it is soon going to
bring in India.
